PALADA PRADHAMAN
Ingredients
Ada - 250g
Water - 1/2 ltr
Sugar - 11/2 cup
Ghee -3 tbsp
Milk - 1/2 ltr (cream milk)
Coconut milk -1 cup
Cardamom powder - 1/2 tsp
Cashew nuts - 1/4 cup
Raisins (dry grapes) 1/4 cup
Method
Boil the water, put the ada (rice chips, available in any supermarket) in to it for 2 minutes.When the ada is cooked drain the water . Wash the ada in cold water. Take a pan and heat 2tbs ghee, put the ada into it and stir it gently for 2 minutes in low fire. Add milk and sugar. Stir it carefully (otherwise the ada may loose shape ) for 15minutes till the mixture become thick enough. Pour the coconut milk, wait for a minute and put off the fire. Add the fried nuts, raisins and cardamom powder. Mix all together. Serve it hot.
