MUTTON-STEW
Ingredients
Mutton 500 gms
Coconut milk -1 ½ -2 cup
Onion Sliced 2 big
Potatoes - 2
Tomatoes chopped - 1
Green chilies -4-6
Garlic Ginger paste - 1 tsp
Cinnamon-2cm
Cloves 2 pod
Cardamom - 1
Coriander powder- 2 ½ tbsp
Turmeric powder -½ tsp
Garam masala - ½ tsp
Fennel seed powder - ½ tsp
Coconut Oil - 4 tbsp
Water - ½ cup
Curry leaves - 2 stalks
Salt to taste
Method
Cut the mutton in medium size and clean it.
Take a wok. Heat it and pour the oil . Put the clove, cinnamon and cardamom.Add garlic ginger paste saute it till the raw smell goes. Now saute the onion with green chilly and tomatoes. to it. Next add corriander powder. Put mutton and potatoes. Add turmeric powder , garam masala powder fennel seed powder curry leaves and salt. Move to a pressure cooker. Keep it for 10 - 15 min till it is cooked properly. Transfer to a kadai. Add cocunut milk, mix it well. Keep it in low flame for 2 minutes. Don't allow to boil. Stir it continously. Serve it with appam.
