RASAM

Ingredients:
Tomato chopped - 1cup
Tamarind juice - 1 tbsp
Tumeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Chilly powder - 1/2 tsp
Coriander powder - 1/4 tsp
Small onion -4 nos
Garlic - 4 nos
Pepper powder - 1 tsp
Cumin seeds- 1/4 tsp
Asafoetida - 2 pinch
Fenugreek (Methi powder) - 2 pinch
Coriander leaves - 1 tbsp chopped
Water - 2 cups
Oil - 2 tbsp
Mustard Seeds

Method
Heat pan. Pour oil and splutter the mustard seeds. Saute tomato till transparent. Add crushed garlic, small onion, cumin seeds pepper corn in it. Saute till raw smell goes. Put the chilly powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, asafoitida and fenugreek powder in to it. Stir it for 1 minute. Add the tamarind juice, water and salt in it. Allow it to boil, and add chopped coriander leaves. Put off fire and serve the rasam with rice.
