KARIMEEN FRY - PEARLSPOT FRY

Fresh karimeen from Allapuzha lake.
Ingredients:
Karimeen - 1
Lime juice - 1 tsp
Chilly powder - 1 tsp
Pepper powder - 1 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Salt - to taste
Oil - enough to fry (2 or 3 tbsp)

Method
Clean and wash the fish, make diagonal slits through it. Apply lime juice and set aside for 2-5 minutes. Marinate the fish with chilly powder, pepper powder, turmeric powder and salt. Heat the oil in a pan and shallow fry the fish in both sides.
