Ingredients
Idly rice - 2 cups
Urad dal - 1 cup
Fenugreek seeds(Methi) - 1/2 tsp
Cooked rice - 1/4 cup
Salt to taste
Method:
Wash Idly rice,Urad dal and Methi, soak it for 4-6 hours (You can soak and grind urad dal separately). Drain the water and grind with enough water and cooked rice till it becomes smooth. Keep it to ferment for 10-12 hours. Add enough salt and make "Idly" in the idly steamer. Serve these with "Sambar or Chutney"
